Re-drew my Jester dragon for the Draw this again contest.

Not sure it quite went as well as I expected, I think I picked one I loved too much. In my head I can't improve on the original so it will be interesting to see what other people think. Which is best.

The newer one definitely has a lot more detail and color in it, which is what I love most about your work. So I say you improved quite a bit since then. :)

I think I like the more unrealistic one. lol. I am used to drawing like that and the scales get in the way of other details it seems....to me.

I think I like the previous one too. But I do like the scales on the second one. I like the pose on the first one alot.

Yeah, I'm thinking - when my hand has recovered - that I may have to use my light box to trace most of the old one and then I can just fix the head and add some scales.
