::The July - September 2020 Challenge::

You have until the end of September to submit your entry to the July - September 2020 entries folder.

The theme is Strawberries!!

Rules:

1. Must be new and your own work, please credit all stock used and follow the individual stock artist's rules.

2. Must contain at least one dragon.

3. Must be able to explain how the picture fits the challenge.

No stock images sorry, I can't figure out the new DA. Categories seem to have gone? So how do we search for stock now?

Commissions Gallery folder! With the introduction of the commission section in the journal I have decided to add a commission folder in the gallery so that if you make a dragon commission for someone you can upload it to our gallery. That means if you advertise commissions in our journal people can see examples of what they could get by viewing the folder in our gallery.

The gallery folder submission rules:

1. Only dragon commissions

2. Must be made by a member, its not open to affiliates but doesn't have to be made for a member.

3. Should be an example of a commission, that's work someone has paid the you to make not a free gift.

4. Can be any medium, I will even accept writing so long as it is a genuine commission for someone.

I would expect when you submit a commission to DA you'll be writing in the deviation description who paid for it so I'll be moderating submission based on the information in your image descriptions.

Note - you can submit old commissions, it doesn't have to be new work for this folder.

BTW - for the commissions folder. Copyright rules apply, for example, I wont be accepting adoptable toothless images as you should not be selling copyrighted characters. A one off private commission of toothless maybe but not sheets of adoptables. Please be careful what you try to sell, especially if you use stock to make it.

Struggling with the new DA, its really hard to figure out how to manage a group.

This month's Scrawlrbox is charcoal, now hoarder me has already got art fixative spray and I actually found it, but still. I hate charcoal, its so messy

Just getting it on my fingers when I opened the box is enough to annoy me nevermind actually holding it to draw with. This box is gonna be horrid. 

Although the fact I now have fixative spray might also mean I can go back and do January (I think it was January anyway) that was pastels. I avoided thosor the same reason.

Hahaha, whoops! Just realised I've set up all the black mugs wrong because I didn't notice it said black so I changed the background colour. Nevermind, I'm not going back and editing that many mugs now.

If anyone ever wants a black mug please drop me a message and I'll fix the one you want. I am sorry...

Takes too much energy to get through all the options on these things.
